Dave Evans, CLU, ChFC President

Dave has 47 years’ experience in the insurance and annuity industry. His goal is for Evans Financial Group to make positive, life-changing and lasting differences in the communities it serves.

Dave received a degree in marketing from Lamar University. He holds life and health insurance licenses and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. He is also an Investment Adviser Representative with Brookstone Capital Management LLC.

Dave and his wife, Gale, have been married for 50 years and have one son, Colin. They attend The Church at Red River.

Colin Evans, RFCManaging Partner

Following in his father's footsteps, Colin joined the firm in 2000. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in financial analysis and insurance.

Colin has two children, Ashton and Emerson Leigh. His hobbies include firearms training and teaching, which he pursues as a National Rifle Association (NRA) pistol instructor and concealed handgun permit instructor for the state of Louisiana. They attend The Church at Red River.

Insurance Professional

Jennifer Delcomyn joined Evans Financial Group in 2006. She started as an operations specialist, processing applications and paperwork, and quickly became passionate about the financial industry. Jennifer worked her way up to become an insurance professional with the firm. She enjoys building relationships with clients and designing solutions that will benefit them in all aspects of life.

Jennifer obtained a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in 2003, has her life and health insurance license and is currently in the process of acquiring her securities license.

Jennifer is married to her high school sweetheart, Josh, and they have two boys, Hunter and Harper, who keep them very busy with school activities and sporting events. When not at work, Jennifer can be found on the ballfield either watching her boys play or volunteering at Bossier Dixie, where she is a board member.

Peggy Mott

Peggy Mott has been with Evans Financial Group since 2008 working as a client service specialist. Peggy also oversees the administration of employee benefits for group clients. She obtained her master’s degree at Stephen F. Austin State University and is a licensed life and health insurance professional.

Peggy is married and has three children and four grandchildren. She and her husband attend Gladstone Community Church.

Brooke Reynolds has been with Evans Financial Group since 2013. She joined the firm with over a decade of office experience and obtained her life, health and accident insurance license in 2015.  She is one of our client service specialists who handles applications, service work and helping clients with any requests they have. Brooke also assists the advisors with numerous projects and requests that require a lot of time and attention to detail.
 
Brooke is a single mom of two incredible children, Max and Mackenzie, whose personalities and spirit keep her on her toes. They attend Gladstone Community Church in Shreveport.

Kelly joined Evans Financial Group in January of 2020 working as a client service specialist. She handles applications, service work and helping clients with any questions they have. Kelly is currently working on her life and health insurance license.

Kelly is a native of Shreveport where she met her husband, Tim. They have lived in several states due to his 24 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Berlynn and Brylee who keep them busy playing soccer.

After 25 years in Christian retail and then as a Realtor, Shelley joined Evans Financial Group in March of 2021. Shelley handles new applications, service work for clients and helps with questions when they call into our office.

She is married to Terry Wilson, an Air Force Veteran and they have a large family of four children and four grandchildren.

Vicky Zimmerman is our Client Service Specialist and a Notary. She joined us in January 2014 and obtained her insurance license in 1992. She grew up a “military brat” and settled in Bossier City in 1984. She loves gardening and spending time with her large family. Together, Vicky and her husband Ray have six kids, five grandkids. Vicky and Ray attend St. Joseph’s Church in Shreveport.

Micah and his wife, Kristyn, spend most of their time chasing their three children: Ellie, Jack, and Leo. As a family, they enjoy the outdoors, especially when it includes gathering and cooking. They attend Covenant Church in Bossier City.
